Curious if it would be better to install Linux or MacOS? Technically, you have to use a real Mac OS system (not a VM) for iOS development according to Apple ToS, but can they be upgraded to the latest Mac OS and XCode? If you're not planning on using any Mac specific software, then I would probably just throw Windows 10 (Microsoft actually extended support after everyone upgraded to Windows 11 lol) or Alpine Linux / something small and efficient if they don't have much ram. d ld
