I work for hackers apparently...

Someone mentioned they couldn't get onto Chattanooga.gov today. This is
what we're greeted with from any of our computers... Add that to spending
three hours getting a printer added to the network, it seems I have a bad
case of Monday...

=============================================================== From: Michael Scholten ------------------------------------------------------ Image too small? I wondered when I attached it if that was going to be an issue. Basically, they have one line on the home page saying " You are a spammer, hacker or an otherwise bad person.". I think the "...otherwise bad person." is a nice touch... Fine if they want to block us from using their service however I fell they ought to wave our taxes then... Seems fair. -Michael

=============================================================== From: Dave Brockman ------------------------------------------------------ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I was commenting on how busy and appalling I find the website when you pass the "evil bit" check that you are apparently failing. I'd vote for that :) Regards, dtb - -- "Some things in life can never be fully appreciated nor understood unless experienced firsthand. =============================================================== From: David White ------------------------------------------------------ That image belongs on twitter.... And + (another) 1 for the paying taxes online!

=============================================================== From: Dan Eveland ------------------------------------------------------ That also happened when I worked at the library. Your IP may have been flagged. Since I worked for the city I could just email them and they fixed it. It happened the same day the library site was hit with a DOS attack. So it might not be your network. I was told they were responding to an attack on various city services.

=============================================================== From: Michael Scholten ------------------------------------------------------ That was what we thought Dan. Who do we need to talk with? Last I heard my supervisor had called 311 in hopes of at least being pointed in the right direction. -Michael

=============================================================== From: Michael Scholten ------------------------------------------------------ In this case we're not paying our taxes. Just feel that if we can't use their site then we shouldn't have to pay for it... ;)
