Anyone used OfflineIMAP? success, great, awful?
Alternate suggestions for my need?

I have multiple users on a single system using a common IMAP email account.
Currently, this results in multiple copies of the same email stored locally
in separate user accounts for fast search and retrieval.

Your IMAP client is responsible for any locally cached content. IMAP is online and stateful, use it as such. Not everything is intended to, or should be encapsulated into an http stream and treated as a stateless connection. =============================================================== From: Rod ------------------------------------------------------ Each user he is talking about is using a fat client. So the common mail account is being stored multiple times in their personal mail client files on each of their personal directories on the lan. He is looking for a way to reduce that.
