linux: Where to store time and location data

From: Rod
------------------------------------------------------
I'm thinking of doing my own linux respin. I know the distros store time
zone data somewhere.
I also want to get location data during install and have apps read that
from a config file, say for a weather app.

So where should that be placed in the file system?

=============================================================== From: Rod ------------------------------------------------------ according to Arch, time is stored in /etc/adjtime. Thanx ET I'll look at that. I'm thinking of using T2 but LSF is an option as well. As a side not it looks like remastersys is dead. @DB I thought of that but shouldn't it be system wide for multi user?
