=============================================================== From: DaWorm ------------------------------------------------------ Good luck passing safety or emissions in the US. I'd guess it would be rigged against, kind of like Bugs without catalytic converters.

=============================================================== From: Stephen Kraus ------------------------------------------------------ I already run Linux on my ECU/EMS, what more do you want? n e s.

=============================================================== From: Stephen Kraus ------------------------------------------------------ Most states allow vehicles past a certain year to run without cats.

=============================================================== From: Chad Smith ------------------------------------------------------ from the page: ECOFRIENDLY Compatible with all types of engines, especially the *IHE* (Integated Hybrid Engine), Tabby can be green and have zero emissions. Kind of hard to explain how it wouldn't pass emissions test if it has 0 emissions. *- Chad W. Smith*

=============================================================== From: DaWorm ------------------------------------------------------ Same way the Bug didn't. They wrote the law to require a catalytic converter. Despite meeting all other specs, it didn't have one, so didn't pass. If its electric or hybrid they'll find a way to disallow the batteries or something. If not, they'll say it won't pass crash tests somehow. Yeah, I'm a bit cynical.
