noogaJS - Chattanooga JavaScript Community

If you were at Code & Creativity (I know Mike H. was) or DevLink this week,
you may have heard about a new User Group starting up here focused on
JavaScript. Brian Hooper and I are starting this group up and I wanted to
extend an invitation to everyone here on CHUGALUG.

Love it or hate it, JavaScript is hot. And that's a huge understatement. If
you're doing web development, you're probably dealing with some JavaScript
no matter what's on your back end, PHP, Ruby, C# (yuck), or whatever. We
want to help bring JavaScript developers together for learning, networking,
and eating lots of pizza.

We have speakers lined up for the rest of the year and we really hope to
see you there. Our web site is http://noogajs.org and you can follow us on
Twitter at http://twitter.com/noogajs.

The first meeting will be at Unum on September 24, 2013. Pizzas (and you)
should show up at 5:30pm and the speaker, Jim Cowart, will begin his
presentation at 6:00.

Beginning in October, we will be moving the meetings over to the 4th Floor
of the downtown library where Dan Eveland and company are doing some
awesome things.

The plan is for the meetings to be held the 4th Tuesday of every month with
the exception of November and December when we'll back them up a week due
to the holidays.

I'd really love to see as many as can make it at the meetings and
participating. If you'd like to present, we are working on filling the 2014
calendar so you've got time to get something together.

Thanks!
Andrew
