Cert Spoofing and Fingerprinting

From: David White
I'm on another mailing list made up of a bunch of folks interested in
security, and this was brought up.

Looks like a really good read: https://www.grc.com/fingerprints.htm

=============================================================== From: JBirdVegas ------------------------------------------------------ Is the infosec group a private membership? I'm always interested in security.

=============================================================== From: David White ------------------------------------------------------ It's not really an "infosec" group - its more general than that. But several of the folks on the list are very concerned about security. In a nutshell, it's a faith-based "missionaries-who-are-also-in-IT / geeks" group I'm a part of.

=============================================================== From: Stephen Haywood ------------------------------------------------------ There is a Defcon group in town. Look for DC423 on google+. Also, the Atlanta Defcon group, DC404, has an active mailing list. -- Stephen Haywood Owner, ASG Consulting CISSP, GSEC, OSCP W: www.averagesecurityguy.info T: @averagesecguy
