All of the Engenius bridges I have worked with (I do keep the firmware up to date) have utilities to show the bridge connection strength, other wireless devices (ie. possible sources of interference), etc. Whats a good wireless product that will allow my Linux Your immobile desktop deserves a cable! :) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833704135 There's a cheap RALINK chip that appears to be working in the wild. It's dual-band N, so it will connect to A/B/G on 2.4 or 5Ghz. Also includes an extension cable so you can put on your desk if your box is in the floor. =============================================================== From: Garrett Gaston ------------------------------------------------------ I know it's not my router because all other devices in the house are workin= g just fine which leads be to believe that the EnGinius is going bad. What = do you mean my desktop needs a cable? The Enginius device is considered a w= ired connection as far as the computer is concerned and the desktop is to f= ar away from my router to be plugged straight in.
