3d printin'

From: Ed King
------------------------------------------------------
on my way to hell this morning I drove past Novacopy (friggin awesome name for a
business, btw) and their retina-burning-bright sign was advertising
3d-printing. That's all I know. I have not looked at their website to check
pricing.

=============================================================== From: Ed King ------------------------------------------------------ ok so I was bored and checked the Novacopy website and it seems that they've had 3d printers since April 2012 which is around the time I got rear-ended in my Nova and developed Joe Pesci personality disorder http://www.novacopy.com/NEWS/Press-Releases/2012-Press-Releases

=============================================================== From: Jason Brown ------------------------------------------------------ The ProJet 1500 they sell lists at only $14,500. It's a UV resin curing printer, Wikipedia says resin costs between $80 and $210 per liter, that pricing is better than I thought. If I can find a good source of resin, I want to build my own to compliment the Prusa FDM printer I built: http://www.3ders.org/articles/20120624-low-cost-open-source-3d-dlp-printer-on-kickstarter.html --Jason

=============================================================== From: Tim Youngblood ------------------------------------------------------ This is the one I dug. Mostly because it has a retro scifi look to it. http://www.3ders.org/articles/20120511-resin-based-3d-printer-b9creator-for-high-quality-prints-currently-on-kickstarter.html Tim
