Ubuntu One Music development

I'M using Mint Linux but I'd like to be able to use the Ubuntu One Music st=
ore. The Ubuntu site does not offer a link file they just assume that if yo=
u're wanting to use Ubuntu One that you must already have Ubuntu=2C which c=
omes pre packaged with Ubuntu One Music. I contacted them requesting a link=
to the .deb file. I was then told they do not offer that file for download=
nor will it work on any Linux distro except of course=2C Ubuntu. They offe=
red to put me or anyone I know in contact with the development team if I wa=
s interested in helping out in that department. But since my programming sk=
ills are little and less I thought I would see if anyone here was really bo=
ard and would like to pass the time cross-distroing Ubuntu One.

=============================================================== From: Sean Brewer ------------------------------------------------------ There's a Rhythmbox plugin for Ubuntu One. Have you tried that? You need to make sure rhythmbox is installed first. https://launchpad.net/rhythmbox-ubuntuone Source is here: https://launchpad.net/rhythmbox-ubuntuone/stable-4-0/4.0.0/+download/rhythmbox-ubuntuone-4.0.0.tar.gz Extract that and try running: sudo python setup.py install Then run rhythmbox.

=============================================================== From: Sean Brewer ------------------------------------------------------ Just to add, I'm not sure how far you'll get with that, but it's a good place to start.

=============================================================== From: Garrett Gaston ------------------------------------------------------ I have it installed but the Rhythmbox plug in itself is not enough for what= I'd like to be able to do.
