Embedded devices

In light of the ongoing discussion regarding Default SSL keys for  
Embedded devices, I thought I'd mention something that I heard one of  
my geeky brewing buddies talking about -- an intelligent programmable  
outlet with a thermostat for fermenting -- i.e. it allows you to  
program a temperature for X days and then after X days the temperature  
will automatically increase or decrease the temperature at the  
programmed time.
