RE: ftp server

Check "man vsftpd.conf" for the options you need. There also may be a file
in /etc/default/ to specify the ftproot to the daemon.

Subject: [Chugalug] ftp server

I've got an Ubuntu home server up and running and I've also just set up ftp
service on it. I got the service up and running and I can view the ftp page
from another computer in my house by typing
ftp://192.168.1.16 in the address bar. The problem it's pretty much blank.
The think is I don't know how to attache a directory on the server to the
ftp service. I did set a few things in the /etc/vsftpd.conf file but didn't
see where you specify the file path to the upload/download shared directory.
