EPB issue

I was having this issue with EPB earlier today:

james@computron:~$ time sudo ifup eth0

Any thoughts on what may have been going on? I thought it was odd that it
took so long for me to get an address (waiting after DHCPREQUEST sent each
time), and that the DHCPOFFERs came from two different addresses (x.x.x.2
and x.x.x.3).

=============================================================== From: Joe Freeman ------------------------------------------------------ I've been having DHCP problems with EPB for about a month now... my lease will expire and I'll have to shut the port to them to reset the connection before I can get a new lease, which of course is never the same as the last one now...
