I think what he was saying is - if you were to search on Google.com or Yahoo.com or Bing.com or <a href="http://whoever-else-still-exists.com">whoever-else-still-exists.com</a> you will see ads in your search results.<br><br>

That is how search engines make money - that's why they exist.  Without ads there would be NO motivation to do all the work to create and maintain a search engine.<div><br></div><div>I'm sure by putting the ads in the search results of the built-in search function of the OS, Ubuntu is getting some money.  Which considering all the good they've done promoting the use of open source software, they kind of deserve to make - don't you think?<br>
