I learned to program starting with Pascal in high school (we used Turbo
Pascal), then moved to C++ (using Turbo C++). Of course, in elementary
school we used Logo and a little bit of Commodore BASIC.
Oh god, has it really been that long?
Yes, I'm not terribly old (I'm only 30) but I still can feel nostalgic just
like the next man. :)
" ' With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured,
the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all
irrevocably.' Those words were uttered by Judge Aaron Satie as wisdom and
warning... The first time any man's freedom is trodden on we’re all
damaged." - Jean-Luc Picard, quoting Judge Aaron Satie, Star Trek: TNG
episode "The Drumhead"
