Don't let this stop you... they truly are beautiful machines.  And if

Orrrrrr, you could sign up for a free DECUServe[1] subscription which
will qualify you for the Hobbyist OpenVMS license[2].  I never could
actually call it Tru64... the transition from OSF/1 to Digital UNIX
was hard enough[3].

[2] - they only report member numbers weekly, no instant gratification
[3] - Tru64 came after the memo from CPQ to DEC the morning after SEC
approval of the merger.  DEC died in that memo, quite literally.
