I have been preaching that Java is a huge, gaping security hole just
waiting to be opened for the last 5 years. Just because Oracle now
owns it, or the DHS decided to publicly post their agreement with me,
hasn't really changed anything. Unfortunately, until the Financial
and Medical industries both decide to move off of it, people trying to
get their work done still need the plug-in tied into their browsers.
I just had a conversation two weeks ago with Charles Schwab on behalf
of a client. I've never heard such out and out plain-faced lying BS,
I hope they are not indicative of the financial industry as a whole
and their particular stage of denial.....
