[Chugalug] OT: Looking for equipment

Does anyone know which companies might be approachable for
any new or used equipment donations for a community college
IT project?

Would this be an acceptable request?

I would like to setup two servers, one for a mandatory Windows 2008(ugh!)
server and one for linux enterprise server(Centos,maybe).

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
