we've been using sshfs for years (well, since 2009) for linux<->linux file sharing

I was curious if there was a windoze client for sshfs...    looks like there is one in Google code repository.    Haven't used the Windoze client so can't vouch for it.

Subject: [Chugalug] SAMBA-Lite?

On a special purpose Linux computer, I'd like to make a small set files (daily reports) read-only available to anything that can reach it.
One directory... Less than a dozen files.

I can setup Samba to do this (and have on other systems)...

Is there anything easier/saner for very limited needs?

Or shall I just bite the Samba bullet?
