Chad,
Good post. Most of the bitcoin wallets were affected due to a bug in
Android itself. Here is a copy-pasta from the Wallet app that I use:

What's New
Version 3.15
IMPORTANT: Because of the Android SecureRandom class has multiple severe
bugs that render it useless for cryptographic purposes, this version
rotates all private keys. You will need to make a fresh backup of your
wallet. It will not contain your old (insecure) keys, so keep your old
backups around just in case.
More info available at: http://bitcoin.org/en/alert/2013-08-11-android

The wallet app I use (
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schildbach.wallet ) was
patched within a few hours of finding this bug.

If anyone is using a Bitcoin Wallet on your Android, please goto the market
and make sure you have the latest update!
