[Chugalug] Ubuntu 12.10 & Ads?

I think what he was saying is - if you were to search on Google.com or
Yahoo.com or Bing.com or whoever-else-still-exists.com you will see ads in
your search results.

That is how search engines make money - that's why they exist.  Without ads
there would be NO motivation to do all the work to create and maintain a
search engine.

I'm sure by putting the ads in the search results of the built-in search
function of the OS, Ubuntu is getting some money.  Which considering all
the good they've done promoting the use of open source software, they kind
of deserve to make - don't you think?
