You should backup all your disks. If experience, both with flash in
general and with SSDs at work in particular, holds, the solid state
memory will have a much higher failure rate than the spinny disks.

Not that you aren't tempting me to put an SSD in my laptop. Just don't
expect it to be as long-term reliable as a spinny.
