2003 only supports > 2TB boot volume if the hardware supports EFI, and
I think in 2003 terms that means Itanium. I don't think Windows got
the EFI/GPT x64 boot code until Vista/2008 code.
So you need to do an "advanced" disk partitioning, and carve out a <
2TB boot volume to install Server 2003 on, then carve out another
larger partition (using GPT) as a non-booting data partition.
And/or run some kind of hardware stress test on RAM and video.
